Rented from 2012 until 2017, Capalot is a vineyard which complements Berri, both in character and age of vines.

Our vineyard in the Cru Capalot, entirely planted to Nebbiolo, extended to the northeast of the La Morra village, towards the hamlet of Santa Maria. The eastern exposure, old vines and soil containing sandstone rock together with sedimentary Marl (most notably silt) make Capalot a perfect foil for Berri. As a result, from 2012 until 2017 (included), we had been renting a vineyard there and blended the grapes from Capalot with those of Berri.
