Rented from 2012 till 2017, Capalot is a vineyard which complements Berri, both in character and age of vines.

Our vineyard in the Cru Capalot, entirely planted to Nebbiolo, extended to the north-east of La Morra village, towards the hamlet of Santa Maria. The eastern exposure, old vines and soil containing sandstone rock together with sedimentary Marl ( notably silty) make Capalot a perfect foil for Berri. As a result, from 2012 until 2017 (included), we had been renting a vineyard there and blended the grapes from Capalot with those of Berri.
