Bricco Mollea (Vicoforte) (2019-2021)

Bricco Mollea vineyard is located in the small village of Vicoforte, at the Southern border of Langhe. Rented from 2019 until 2021, it is vineyard of altitude that lies at the bottom of the Alpi Liguri mountains.
With its full South exposure, Bricco Mollea is a natural anfitheatre that has been planted with vineyards since 1950. There are 2 different kind of soil there: the Paroldo Marl (blue/grey silty marl, caracterised by sandstones and sand veins in the lower part) and the Cassinasco Formation (similar to the Lequio formation, composed by alternating strata of sandstones and muddy sedimentary rocks).
The combination of the 600mts altitude and the full South exposure is a great help towards our goal of always having full ripeness of the grapes together with a low PH and a vivid fresheness.
